Description

Seemal R. Desai, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist based in Plano, Texas. He graduated with honors from Emory University and earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005. Dr. Desai completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, serving as Chief Resident in Dermatology.

He is actively involved in numerous medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), where he has held various leadership roles and is set to become president in March 2024. His clinical expertise includes treating vitiligo, psoriasis, acne, and skin conditions in patients of color. Dr. Desai is also the founder of Innovative Dermatology and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has authored numerous publications and frequently presents at international dermatology conferences
